War on Humanity!
President Bush says the Iraqi insurgents are waging a war on humanity
First, Mr. Bush declared a war on terror, then a war on poverty, then a war on hunger, and now he has declared the Iraqi resistance a "War on Humanity"! Mr. President says the resistance from Iraqi insurgents and other "Islamic" militant organization (An indirect strategy to defame the religion, even though not all the Iraqi insurgents may be Muslims. In fact, the insurgents are fighting for their country, and not religion, but who's going to tell that to Dubya?)
Here's an article on BBC reporting Mr. Bush's new slogan, since the old one's such as: "Progress", "War on Terror", "Weapons of Mass Destruction", and "No timelines" are getting old.

george the terrible calling the iraqi freedom fighters(yes,thats what they are!)as "waging a war on humanity" is just spitting at himself..he is the one doing that by the illegal occupation of iraq.i am happy that there are other people from south asia feeling this way.cheers mate!

I don't know why you insist on calling the terrorists in Iraq "freedom fighters".
Many of the terrorists and almost all of the leaders are from other countries. al Sadar is from Jordan, others are from Palestine, Egypt and Syria. They aren't fighting for freedom. They are fighting for their own violent take on their religion.
Rabenstrange, firstly, I never called insurgents freedom fighters. Secondly, Muqtada Al-Sadr is an Iraqi national, just like his father who was an Iraqi shi'a cleric. I believe you are referring to Al-Zarqawi, who is a Jordanian national, and is most definitely a terrorist. I agree that most of these foreign 'leaders' of terrorism are in fact fighting for extranous causes, but the commonfolk who are againt the occupation are fighting for freedom.
No matter who it is, if your country is invaded by a foreign entity and occupied, no matter how good the intentions of the invaders may be, they will always be considered occupiers and will be looked at as tyrants. It's just an innate feeling of nationalism that people are taught to embrace since childhood. There is not much that can be done to convince the Iraqi people to stop fighting the 'liberators' and work with them to reconstruct the country. Although that would be an ideal situation, it can not be implemented in the real world as we have already witnessed since the beginning of the invasion. I just wish the Iraqi people would abdicate voilence, forget the past and work with the 'Coallition of the willing' for a brighter future and serve as an example to the neighboring nations.
